Safety
Safety is at the centre of design for the Victory V8 treadmill. Beginning with safe and easy access for both horses and operators by means of large ramps ( 1.8mt wide x 1.5mt long ) and an approved walkway. Other safety design aspect includes:-

*Electromagnetic door locks, with sensor activity to only allow the machine to operate when doors are fully closed.

*Time out mode. If the treadmill is left turned on and unattended for a period of time the pedestal control will go into sleep mode requiring it to be woken up for the next operation. This prevents accidental start up from unauthorized users. It is easily reactivated but requires a two stage sequence for startup, this also prevents operators from starting the machine prematurely.
*A stop button on the pendent is easily located and operated bringing the training session to a gradual end. The ramp down time fully programmable from the settings screen. However if the need for a rapid stop arises then the EMERGENCY STOP button on the control pedestal in order to bring the machine to a rapid stop within seconds. This emergency stop button is an approved device and needs to be reset before the treadmill will operate.

*Banners will appear on the screen to inform the operator of various elements within the machine's current operational state. These include doors being open, lubricant for belt, emergency stop button having pressed and the requirement for re-activation and for selection of manual or auto modes.

* Horse safety is paramount, consequently after lengthy consultation with experts within the equine industry Victory Treadmills Australia has designed and built a machine to suit. This includes features such as high offside wall, round pipe railing, rubber walls, back door breakaway system and 1.5 metre long entrance and exit ramps, guarding against horses being checked in their stride accessing and leaving the treadmill.
